WHAT’S LOVE TO YOU?
KAMA UNAPENDA KUONA PICHA ZA NGOOONOO...BOFYAAA..HAPAAA...CHINII...NISHIDAAAAAA... ==>> >Dr James Dobson defines love as an expression of the deepest appreciation for another human being; it is awareness of his or her needs and longings- past, present and future. It is unselfish, giving and caring.
Love is one word that’s been misused these days for probably selfish reasons; it’s been abused, overused and has even been confused with lust that its meaning holds no weights anymore and its existence has even been doubted by countless.
What’s love to you? Is it finding perfection in an imperfect partner or rather nagging, mocking and complaining about an imperfect partner?
What’s love really? Is it being affectionate to a person like no other or is just having an illusion that you care about two, three, four and even more persons at the same time?
Do you find love in a partner for happiness or do you only derive happiness in just the material things you can gain?
How can we really define love? Love has been defined as a friendship caught on fire; a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce in the beginning, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love become as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable but how many can boast of such?
Jackson Brown Jr defines love as something the heart sees that is invisible to the eye. This means love can never be confused with lust even if people try to. What really is love? Can it be defined by public display of affection or in the feeling of the sweetness of a partner; as Jean de la Bruyere stated “The sweetest of all sounds is that of the voice of the woman we love.”
But how do we really define love? Is there a perfect line for it? A deep quote by Nicholas Sparks reads “Love is more than three words mumbled before bedtime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other every day.”
What’s love to you?
