And, according to Sky Sports News, Mourinho put pen-to-paper on a contract with the Red Devils at a London hotel.

Chelsea eye up move for Tottenham misfit Emmanuel Adebayor

Chelsea are reportedly considering a summer move for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor as the Blues looking to replace Didier Drogba at the end of this campaign.
According to the Express, The former Ivory Coast captain will likely leave West London outfit this summer and manager Jose Mourinho is now seeing the Togolese striker as the best back up option for Diego Costa.
The Portuguese tactician worked with Adebayor at Real Madrid in 2011 when the African star was on loan from Manchester City.

The 31 year old has managed to score five La Liga goals in 22 games during his loan time at the Bernabeu.

Bale would be perfect for Manchester United, admits Paul Scholes

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has admitted that Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale would be perfect for Louis van Gaal’s side.
The 25-year-old Walsh international joined Madrid in September 2013 on a world record transfer fee of £85.3 million, but is currently facing criticism from fans over his performance with Los Blancos.
Scholes believes the former Tottenham star should return back to Premier League and can fit Louis van Gaal’s squad for the next season.

“My feeling is that he would be perfect for Manchester United,” Scholes wrote in his column for the Evening Standard.
“Of course, as a fan of my former club I would like to see him there but, looking at it objectively, I always felt that Bale was a natural fit for United as he developed at Tottenham from a left-back into one of the best attacking footballers in the country.
“He would be loved at Old Trafford. In return I believe he could turn Louis van Gaal’s team into serious title contenders next season. In my years at United I witnessed some signings who, over their careers, transformed the fortunes of the team.

“From Eric Cantona when I was an apprentice, to Dwight Yorke, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Wayne Rooney. These were great footballers who became great United players. Bale has the potential to make as much of an impact as any of them,” Scholes added.

Theo Walcott has opened new contract talks -Wenger

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Theo Walcott has opened negotiations over new Arsenal deal; despite the England international wrote the opposite on his official Twitter Account.
“We have started to negotiate with Theo to extend his contract. Personally I would like to keep him.” The French tactician told beIN Sports.
Liverpool are monitoring Walcott’s situation at Emirates after the winger tweeted on Thursday: “There have been no contract talks as yet and my current focus is not on contracts but on doing my best for Arsenal FC.”

The 26 year old has scored 47 league goals in 202 appearances for Arsenal since he joined the club from Southampton in 2006

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo could faces sanctions for his provocative goal celebration after scoring an equaliser against Barcelona in Sunday’s El Clasico.

The Portuguese forward appeared urging Barcelona fans to calm down following his goal and the president of Professional Football League (LFP) in Spain admitted the 30-year-old could be sanctioned.

“We have to be careful with provocative gestures by a player when he scores a goal or with any other provocation or conduct that could incite violence among spectators,” LFP president Javier Tebas told reporters on Tuesday.

“It must be sanctioned, from a fine up to a suspension. We will look into it,” he added.

Chelsea manager  Jose Mourinho has insisted that his side are firmly on course to win the Premier League this season after they beat Hull City 3-2 to move six points clear at the top of the Premier League.
“We are in the best position since the beginning of the season,” He told the club’s official website.
“The maximum lead we had was eight points but when we had eight points we were speaking about 20 matches to go, Now we have six points with one match in hand and with 24 possible points for our opponents to win.”

Chelsea, who still have another game in hand – against Leicester City, continue to chase their first English league crown since 2010 when they host Stoke City at Stamford Bridge after the two-week international break.
